Semiprecious gemstone signet rings stone engraving

The most well-known (semiprecious) gemstone used with signet rings is the blue/black stone with an agate variant. In this example the top side is blue and the bottom is black. When the engraving is made in the blue layer, the black layer beneath becomes visible.
